DISCONNECT FROM THE WEEK

WITH THE BLUE INNOVATION COMMUNITY OF A BORDO LAB

Every Friday we set sail to reconnect with the sea, with ourselves, and with other professionals who are part of A Bordo Lab’s innovation community: entrepreneurs, leaders, and changemakers who want to build from a different place — more human, more regenerative and collaborative, and with triple impact.

NETWORKING ABOARD
We sail, learn, and share conversations in a privileged setting, while discovering the sea as a space for inspiration, connection, and regenerative leadership — a source of ideas, alliances, and projects.

SHARED SNACKS
Each person brings something to eat or drink (as healthy as possible), and we turn this moment into a simple and nourishing gathering, in every sense.

NO PRIOR EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
If it’s your first time on board, welcome! You’ll have support at all times. We’re all learning, and every sailing experience is an opportunity to move forward at your own pace.

Come sail with the community that is driving a new way of doing innovation from the sea.

EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW

To fully enjoy the A Bordo Fridays experience, it’s important to prepare well!
Here is a list of everything you might need:

CLOTHING

Comfortable, sporty clothing, in layers. The weather can change, so it’s better to bring more than too little: a backpack with everything is the best option!

  • Footwear: sneakers or low hiking boots (preferably with white soles).
  • Sailing or cycling gloves (optional, but useful for hoisting or trimming sails).
  • Waterproof jacket or windbreaker, and layered clothing depending on the season.
  • Cap (or a beanie and buff if it’s cold).
  • Sunglasses.
  • Lip balm and sunscreen.

WEATHER

The weather is always an unknown… even with the forecasts from the best apps! For us, it’s like another crew member: we adapt to it, just as we do in life.

If there’s wind… we sail full sail.
If there isn’t… we network or disconnect while gazing at the horizon.
If it rains… we cover up.
If it’s sunny… we cover up too.

And so, every sailing experience is unique. Trips are only cancelled if there is a yellow warning issued by AEMET.

FOOD / SNACKS

Since we will set sail at 2:30 pm, you will probably have already had lunch. It is recommended to eat lightly, avoiding too much fat, alcohol, or overeating before coming aboard.

The sea can change a lot, and with all the sailing activity, it’s better to feel agile than sluggish and sleepy from a post-lunch nap.

On board, everyone brings snacks and drinks to share.

So we definitely won’t go hungry!

If possible, bring healthy options (as much as possible), but as always: whatever suits your taste!

UBICATION

If you can, arrive at 2:00 pm (30 minutes before setting sail) so we have time for introductions and to get into #ABordoFridays mode. We will meet at the red point on the map, right at the corner between Moll de Mestral and Moll de Gregal.

If you come by car, there are two parking areas: one right at the entrance of the ramp, on the left, and another on the other side of the port, in front of the Breakwater.

If you come by motorbike, it’s best to leave it outside Port Olímpic. There’s plenty of space outside.

It is always recommended to come by public transport or by bike if possible.
